Shekar Aiyer started his career in lighting design in 1989 with a live theatrical performance of “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” in South Florida. Since then, he has designed over 100 live theatrical productions for regional theaters in Florida and a couple of national tours.

Lighting has been his passion since his days in commercial & industrial photography.  He brings this experience in lighting to lighting design.

Now, Aiyer Design Services, owned and operated by Shekar Aiyer provides total support for corporate events of all scales and scopes, from concept to design to execution. ADS offers year round design support on a annual retainer basis. Clients email the specs for the event and get 3D CAD drawings, plots as well as photo-realistic renderings that maybe used to make impressive client presentations with unlimited changes, revisions or updates.  For those special and complicated events, ADS offers virtual fly-throughs with fully simulated lighting cues and other special effects that is a must for critical client presentations.
